ARIF ZAINUDIN

Hello, I’m Arif Zainudin, an interior and architectural designer from Indonesia, and the founder of ARZSTUDIO—a small design studio I established in 2013, dedicated to delivering thoughtful, practical, and aesthetic design solutions for residential and commercial spaces.

With over 10 years of experience in the field of interior architecture and design, I have developed a deep understanding of how spatial design can enhance the way people live and work. I am passionate about human-centered, compact, and modular design strategies that are relevant to today's dynamic urban living.

My Background
I began my professional journey with a strong foundation in interior architecture, and in 2013, I took a leap by founding my own studio, ARZSTUDIO. Since then, I have worked on a wide range of projects— from micro-homes and custom residential interiors to commercial spaces and design concepts for developers.

In 2013, I also completed a short course in Product Design at RMIT University (Melbourne, Australia), which enriched my perspective on material exploration, prototyping, and user-centric thinking. This experience has significantly influenced how I approach every interior and architectural project—not just from an aesthetic perspective but also functionally and emotionally.

Design Philosophy
I believe that design is not only about beauty but also about problem-solving. In every project, I aim to balance form and function, while responding to the lifestyle needs and aspirations of the client. I am particularly interested in:

Compact and efficient spatial planning

Modular and expandable home systems

User-centered interiors

Local material exploration

Modern-minimalist aesthetic with warmth and character

These principles are embedded in ARZSTUDIO’s design DNA and reflected in our various residential and interior projects.

What I Do
At ARZSTUDIO, I lead every stage of the design process—from early concept development to 3D visualization, client presentation, and construction documentation. I collaborate with clients, engineers, and builders to ensure the design intent is delivered effectively.

NATA PERABOT – a furniture-focused brand that provides simple, functional furnishings for modern homes, sold via Shopee and Instagram.

My Rendering Skills
One of my key strengths is 3D visualization, where I bring concepts to life using tools like:

D5 Render – my primary rendering engine, known for its real-time capabilities and photorealistic results.

V-Ray and Lumion – as complementary tools for animation and lighting studies.

These visualization tools help clients clearly understand the design vision and improve the efficiency of the feedback and approval process.
